Day 123 - Kitchen | School Bus Conversion

Today I installed the last upper cabinet light in the kitchen and installed the sink.

The lights that are in the upper kitchen cabinets stick up on the inside of the cabinet so I took a piece of wood and cut the same diameter hole in it as I had cut in the cabinet. Then I slide it around the part of the light that sticks up in side the cabinet. This provides a sort of shield for the light so that nothing placed inside that cabinet can push the light back out.

Here is a pic of the light installed:

Here it is on the inside of the cabinet:

Here are all the lights (including the stove vent lights) illuminated.

Here is the sink installed with the faucet and soap dispenser in place. The center hole will be capped.

Here is another view of the kitchen. Notice the hood vent now sports its stainless finish. I striped the protective white coating off.

Day 122 - More Lights | School Bus Conversion

Today I finished installing all lights but one in the dining kitchen area.

I also installed a recessed light that sits up under the upper right hand kitchen cabinet. I have one more to install on the left side and all lights in the kitchen should be done.

The bus is a bit of a mess right now so in the following pics please disregard the disarray.

Here are the installed lights in the dinning / kitchen area looking towards the rear of the bus.

Here are the installed lights in the dinning / kitchen area looking towards the front of the bus.

In this pic you see the kitchen area. (the hood vent lights are on and to the right a recessed light under the far right top cabinet is on.

This is a pic of the majority of the lights turned on in the bus. This pic was taken at night to get the full effect of the lighting:

I also ran the wire for the stove igniter and stove light.

I have yet to tackle the dash.

Update.... | School Bus Conversion

Hey to all my faithful readers. I am sorry that I have been unable to post anything in the last few days and weeks. I have a few good reasons.

My internet has been down and I can only get online when I am at a friends house. I have also been building a covered front porch and carport onto our home. So I have been busy.

I will post more when the internet gets back to normal.
